Hand washing is the single most effective way to stop the transmission of infections and disease.

Wash Your Hands

Everyone should use soap and water:

· When your hands are visibly dirty

· After using the bathroom

· Before and after preparing food

· Before and after eating

· After coughing or sneezing into your sleeve or tissue (Cover your Cough).

Washing your Hands:

· Wet your hands with warm water

· Apply soap and scrub for at least 15 seconds. 

· Wash the front and back of your hands and wrists, between your fingers, and under your nails

· Rinse well.

· Dry hands with a paper towel.

· Use elbows or a new paper towel to turn off faucets.

Don’t carry germs to your family or your friends.
