Dr. Timothy Brininger was born in Northeastern Ohio, and graduated from Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1990. He spent four years on active duty with the United States Air Force as a flight surgeon, two in Guam and two in Utah. After being deployed around the globe he returned to finish his family practice residency in Reading, Pennsylvania. Upon completion of his residency Dr. Brininger moved to Idaho with his family where he spent 21 years doing rural family practice to include full spectrum outpatient and inpatient medicine. He remained in the Air Force Guard or Reserves until last year when he was retired as a full bird colonel. He was chief of staff of the hospital and medical director of the clinic for many of those years. He had also been the medical adviser for eight EMS agencies at one time as well as the medical director for the local hospice agency.
